who I am
Welcome to the behind-the-scenes of my art.
I’ve been in the art and design business since 1995, when I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a bachelor’s of fine arts in graphic design. Out of school, I first worked for SCAD, and after, I went on to work as a production artist in Gainesville, Florida for DeLong and Associates. After that, North Carolina called me home to work for FGI as a designer. From there, I attained a job at Southpeak Interactive, creating packaging and advertising for video games. This led to working at SAS, as a principal designer.
My favorite thing about designing is the challenge of coming up with something new and creative that’s never been done. Creating multiple ideas based on the same information. Being able to create something that people will remember and will use to build their brand and gain consumers.
As a designer, I’m constantly learning. I’m never satisfied. I’m always looking for ways to better my design. I don’t accept anything less than the best. Take a look through some of my attempts of perfection.
