Painting is typically something I do for myself, an escape to a world of my own. Since it's my world, there is no wrong—it's freedom to do whatever I choose, create whatever I want. And that's why I love it: it's an individual thing. It's my work, my art, from the conception to my signature in the bottom corner.

People are free to take away whatever they want from my paintings, from any paintings, and some will see something that others won't, and that's okay. That's kind of the point.
